Slips were passed around and people asked to write the names of those persons who would be acceptable for bp. The canvass showed 21 ballots cast, 17 of which were for W[illiam] B. Baker. Bro Baker was not present having gone to St. George. His name was presented to the people who voted for him unanimously.
Glencove [ward] 8-p.m. Bro Snow addressed the congregation. 44 pres- ent. Slips were distributed. A majority of ballots were cast for Bro. Jas. Bunker. His name was presented and una[ni]mously sustained.
