Leftist guerrillas bomb four LDS chapels in Chile to protest the arrival of U.S. president George Bush the next day. Later they order the congregation to leave the LDS chapel in Santiago, burn it to the ground, and scatter pamphlets condemning the U.S. role in the Persian Gulf War.
