... I have been amused at the people making [use] of their eyes to see who takes the sisters through the vail. It has nothing to do with the sealing power, they say they cannot receive their endowment without being sealed and this [is] to be known hereafter when persons come through the vail. Those who have labored on the temple, they have all they can expect for a recompense. If we get more it is through the mercy of God. ...
