175 years ago today - Mar 13, 1838

Under the supervision of Hyrum Smith, the Seventies draft the constitution for the organization and government of Kirtland Camp (sometimes called the "poor camp"). The camp was composed of impoverished Latter-day Saints who were fleeing Kirtland, Ohio, for Far West, Missouri, following the apostasy in Kirtland.
