President [Brigham] Young said to me [Wilford Woodruff,] Isaac Morley & Brother Levi Jackman that I want this [Salt Lake] Temple to stand through the Millannium and I want it so built that it will be acceptabl[e] to the Lord & I was not satisfied with the Foundation without taking it up & I want to hasten with it so as to get it as near done as I can before we go to Jackson County [Missouri1/2] the way things are going the way will soon be clear - I think It will not be more than seven years and I want to get the Temple most done before we go. I do not want to Finish any temple untill the one in Jackson County is finished - keep this a secret - dont tell of it lest some will be discouraged - But no Temple will be finished until the one pointed out in Jackson County by Joseph Smith - I want to have Father Morley & Brother Levi Jackman live to go back with me what are old Jackson Co[unty] members ...
