Called on McCornick and had a long talk with him regarding the Sevier River Co. I made him an offer to give him $30,000 Implement stock for $15,000 Utah-Idaho Sugar stock. Several years ago I gave him $30,000 Utah-Idaho for $30,000 Implement. I told him that I would be very grateful to give him all of his stock back and get half of mine back. He laughed at me. I don't blame him. He told me at the time I made the trade that the stock was at par. I did not investigate but made the trade. I deserve to have $20,000 worth of experience for making such a ridiculous trade.
