In the evening of January 12, 1865 I was told by the Lord that I should not be removed from their places [his position in the first presidency]. That Daniel H. Wells [of the 1st presidency], Albert Carrington [future apostle], Jos. A. Young [future apostle] and others were among that number. In the name of the Lord I predict that this will come true.
