[Anthony Ivins]
John W. Taylor [resigned from Quorum of Twelve over plural marriage issues] came to my office. Had been in consultation with Bp. [Joseph] Bentley & M[atthias] F. Cowley [also resigned from Quorum of Twelve over plural marriage issues]. Accused me of connecting him with Bp. [Samuel] Robin- son case [marrying in violation of the manifesto], said I wanted to make capital with the present quorum of Apostles by going to Prest. [Joseph F.] Smith with story. Would soon be vacancies to fill in quorum of Apostles. Evening Meeting with Bentley, Wilson, Taylor, Cowley.
