[Heber J. Grant]
I am informed that the Coca Cola company has very materially changed the formula of their rink from what it was some years ago, and we have made no special protest against its use in recent years. I personally never drink it, because I am assured'by people who should be informed'that it creates an appetite for itself, and as a rule such foods or drinks should be avoided.
For instance, beer creates an appetite for itself, but one soon grows tired of drinking root beer. I have often bought a case of the latter, and before the children and I could use it all up we were tired of it.
I would not feel justified in condemning people who drink Coca Cola; I do not know from personal experience whether or not it is harmful, having never tasted it.
