The First Presidency went this morning to the Power House of the Salt Lake City Railway, on invitation of Brother Francis Armstrong, and witnessed the turning on of power conveyed by wire from the works of the Utah Power Company, with which Brother Armstrong is connected, in Cottonwood Canyon. From today this power so conveyed, is to be used for propelling the street cars in Salt Lake City.
