Yesterday and today, have been engaged in work at the President's office. This evening's Deseret News contains a splendid article entitled "Joseph Smith, Jr., as a Translator," by Robert C. Webb, Ph.D. The articles that have heretofore appeared in answer to the [Solomon] Spalding pamphlet have been rather in the nature of demurrers in the case. The Webb article published today meets the question and appears to be a complete reply.
11Explain that Webb was Homans's pseudonym.
