President Young met this Morning in the Council House with the Twelve, his Councilors, the Bishops & many others & opened the school of the Prophets By remarks a prayer & an Address. Spoke of the first Establishment of the school of the Prophets By the Prophet Joseph himself. He wished the School now renewed. Brother D.O. Calder was appointed to take Charge of a Class to study Book keeping & Commercial Business George Taylor to take Charge of Geography & Grammar Classes. Many Excellent remarks were made By President Young & others. -- SLC Council House
