[Richard R. Lyman]
3:00 Meeting of Church Board of Education'The board under direction of Pres. Grant allowed the money asked for by the Comm of Education.'I saw that at the B.Y.U.'s request is made for $30,000.00 to increase salaries or to employ new teachers. I told Dr. Jno A. Widtsoe That I regard this as a mistaken policy.'There is a limit to the amount the Church can allow for this institution.'To start new depts is a mistake. I say the foundation should be laid out now & on it, without extension, we should build.
