Met at the home of Geo. A. Adams, with Bishop [Frederick] Jones and his counselors, Barton Butt, and [Hanson] Bayless, & others. After discussion it was unanimously decided that the Indians should be removed from the county and that a petition to that effect be circulated for signatures and sent to the Governor.
