[Second Counselor John Henry Smith Diary] Salt Lake City
The day was spent by the Presidency in the office most of the time. I met for a short time with the directors of the Utah National Bank.
In the evening the party who went to Vermont to dedicate the Monument at the Birth place of Joseph Smith about 75 persons were present. We had an elegant meal, some good singing and reciting and speaking. (1)
