[President Wilford Woodruff Journal] 14 Sunday I was not well. Spent the day reading. (1)

"Sister Harriet Howe" (Eber D. Howe's wife) visited with Joseph Smith. She continued to be his loyal follower at least up until the collapse of the Kirtland Safety Society in 1837 (of which she was a stock-holding member). (2)
-- 175 years ago - (Mon) Dec 14, 1835

[Lucy Mack Smith] Joseph Sr., released from prison, joins his family at Waterloo. (If he was arrested in early October, he should have been released in early November after serving a thirty-day sentence. Either Lucy has misremembered the date of the arrest, the term of imprisonment, or the date of his release.) (3)
