Pratt's sermon, called a confession, delivered some time ago; the letter sermon was read. G[eorge]. A. S[mith]. E[zra]. T. B[enson]. & A[lbert]. Carrington present. President said that he thought of presenting the principles involved to the conference, but he did not know but that it might hurt brother Pratt's feelings. It was concluded that a council of the Twelve be called to meet on Wednesday evening to take these matters into consideration. [Young and Pratt differed doctrinal ideas regarding the Godhead]
