[Francis M. Lyman]
Bishop Silas S. Omme of Tooele [Utah] came in bringing with him Dr. [Louis S.] Fuller the leader of the Anti-Saloon league in this and adjoining stakes. We listened to reports ... We then introduced Dr. Fuller and gave him the time he cared to use in talking the cause of the Anti-Saloon League question ... We unanimously voted to sustain the movement with all our influence.
[Francis M. Lyman Diary, as quoted in Minutes of the Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1910-1951, Privately Published, Salt Lake City, Utah 2010]
