[Brigham Young Jr.]
Saw Pres[ident] Woodruff & Cannon & Smith who were quite willing I should go into business. The two former were willing to give me a portion of the church "insurance," which Bro[ther] H. J. Grant entirely absorbs at present as I understand it so. ... I do wish Pres[ident] C[annon] would not impress me with my excessive littleness continually; while he is kind and good and his all is upon the alter, still, he makes his brethren feel that he is too much their superior. God bless him for I love him as I have loved few men on this earth.
