The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sings with the Philadelphia Orchestra in Salt Lake City, Utah. Conductor Leopold Stokowski voices his high praise for the choir, and at the conclusion of the climax of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus," he turns to the audience and says, "That was thrilling, wasn't it? A wonderful choir!" (Improvement Era, June 1936, 372).
