[Utah] Tom Green (52), a bigamist with 5 wives and 29 children, went on trial in SLC for bigamy. Green was convicted May 18 of 4 counts of bigamy and one count of failure to pay child support. Green was sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered to pay $78,000 to the state for fraudulent welfare checks. In 2002 Green was convicted of child rape for impregnating one wife at age 13. Green was released from prison in 2007.
