The twelve also concluded to abandon the old Mormon faith, and henceforth preach the new Mormon doctrine....They next preach that when Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven, as he fell through the wet, misty clouds, deeper and still deeper in sin, until he reached this world of Gentiles, he turned black, as a mark of his sin. This, then, is their reason for receiving no negroes into their church, &c., &c., &c. (3)
