Joseph Smith III, president of RLDS church, respondeds by letter to an inquiry from Texan J. L. Traughber: "So far as polygamy or spiritual wifery is concerned, the Reorganization denies its correctness without reference to whether he [Joseph Smith, Jr.] did or did not practice it"
