Allen in charge of the Branch at Park City [Utah], called on the First Presidency to-day, and informed them that the closing down of the mines at Park City had forced many persons to leave that place, and the Churches had to close down, as the ministers could get no pay. This caused a larger attendance at the meetings of the Saints, and Bro[ther]. Allen desired continued missionary assistance. ...
