George Teasdale spoke of how President [Lorenzo] Snow had labored to bring about perfect union in this Council. When the Manifesto came he considered it the most disasterous [sic] thing that ever struck the Church and it is something we will some day have to meet. Spoke of the conditions which had brought it about and what he considered its disasterous [sic] effects.
