(March) The age for full-time proselytizing missions is lowered to nineteen for males, while sixteen-year-old boys can serve as full-time labor missionaries in the Pacific islands, Europe, and Latin America. Likewise, while most females continue to wait until age twenty-one for missionary service, mission presidents outside the United States can call women as young as seventeen to serve as full-time missionaries within their resident mission area.
