Five of the members of the First Council of Seventy, by appointment, came into our [temple] meeting at 12:00 o'clock Pres [B. H.] Roberts occupied 1 hr 50 min trying to magnify the Seventy above the H[igh]. Priest &c. He said a High Priest holds the Melchizedek Priesthood but the Seventy is more; he is an apostle [as per Brigham Young] &c.
