In view of the fact that an arbitration had been appointed to settle the difficulties arising in the late President Snow's family (consisting of Apostles Merrill, Taylor, and Smoot), Pres. Smith enquired as to how matters stood. Apostle Taylor said that one session of 5 hours had been held and as a result they found a bitter feeling in the family towards Minnie and her children. Some members of the family claimed that she had taken things from the Beehive that she was not entitled to. It was also thought that the 300 shares of sugar stock in her possession and transferred to her should be divided among the heirs. It is also claimed that she has two pieces of land (20 acres in one and 9 acres in the other) more than the others have received.
