Invited all the apostles to attend a meeting in the Presidency's office. We told them we were going to release Bishop Sylvester Q. Cannon on account of his poor health, and would choose a successor, and that we would sustain Brother Cannon as an apostle, although we would not make him a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, but promising him that the first vacancy he would become a member.
