[Heber J. Grant]
Bishop Marion G. Romney called for me and also brought me home after the meeting. I had a nice visit with him at my home, sitting in the auto. He told me that he was very much perturbed over the editorial that was published before the last election when Roosevelt was reelected, being an official in the Democratic party, that it was a hard blow; but he said Monday was a holiday and he went to his office, and he prayed to the Lord, and he never got anything straighter than that that editorial was just what ought to be published. I was delighted to hear that from him. I am delighted when I find that a bishop's church comes first and foremost with him, and that his politics has not warped his judgment spiritually.
