Conduct in Temples
President [J. Reuben] Clark reported in brief to President McKay the report which was made by Brother George F. Richards a few weeks ago regarding information which had come to him of misconduct of temple workers, involving apparently illicit sexual relations, and also the intimation that Brother George F. Richards made that possibly the "new polygamists" were trying to operate there by performing marriages in the temple. President Clark suggested that it seemed to him the only way to meet this situation was for the Presidency to appoint two people'one brother and one sister 'who were thoroughly reliable, alert and not gullible, as workers here in the temple, and to watch and report to the First Presidency what they found to be going on in such matters.
