...Six of President [Wilford] Woodruffâ™s sons, two of his grandsons and three of his sons-in-law, were also present at this meeting. It was agreed to hold the funeral services of the deceased President on Thursday next, September 8th, at 10;30 A.M., in the Tabernacle, and a committee consisting of Brigham Young [Jr.], Heber J. Grant and A[braham]. O. Woodruff, was appointed, to make arrangements for the obsequies. Wilford Woodruff, Jun[ior]. then repeated the request, made last Saturday, that the remains of his father be buried beside those of his mother, Phebe Woodruff. This matter was referred to Bro[ther]. John Jaques, the custodian of Pres[ident]. Woodruffâ™s private papers, and through him it was learned that the late President had left instructions as to the exact place of his burial. This information satisfied President Woodruffâ™s sons, who were not aware before that their father had left any such instructions.
