[Apostle John Henry Smith Diary] In company with Prest. J. F. Smith, I called upon P[atrick]. H. Lannan [owner of the Salt Lake Tribune] and talked over the course being taken by the Tribune in its asaults on B. H. Roberts. Mr. Lannan made lots of talk and said nothing, really.
Prest. J. F. Smith presented him a paper setting forth that no marrying was going of the plural kind. He said that will not do.
