[Apostle Franklin D. Richards Diary] This evening News contains copy of a Petition that was signed by the First Presidency & Twelve about the 20th of last December directed to the President (Harrison) asking for Amnesty for our polygamous brethren & this was endorsed by Gov. Thomas, Sec. Sells, two of the Commission and the Judges of District Courts & was kept confidential in the Department of Justice till now.
