[General] The First Presidency, at their office today, received a report from Sec[retar]y. Geo[rge]. F. Gibbs that the record showed it had been decided to deed the land of the Mexican Colonization in severalty to the bona fide settlers; that the lands had been appraised by a committee appointed for the purpose who had reported to the Presidency. Brother John Henry Smith, President of the Company, was present and was instructed during his approaching trip to Mexico, to make the proper transfers.
