[William Clayton Journal] I attended the celebration of American liberty at Zarahemla. We was called to drill at 8 in the morning and continued untill about 4 o'clock at which time the company went to dinner which was set out in a field on account of so many being present. The provisions was done before all had had dinner. I was shure without and felt bad for want of meat.
