[Apostle Franklin D. Richards Diary] Went to Brigham City with Franklin and Charles called on Pres[iden]t Snow he concluded to go & I accompanied him to the Factory Hall where Charles gave an excellent resume of the rise and progress of the American Govt till the present with the origins of the several Parties that have arisen with the distinguishing Doctrines Franklin followed on the Tarriff, with many ilucidations.

The audience was enthusiastic all through with plentious(?) applause.
