Philo Dibble (a Kirtland land dealer) baptized by Parley P. Pratt. Joseph Smith living on Frederick G. Williams' farm which was $400 in debt and in danger of reverting to the prior owner; Joseph Coe was required to raise the money but couldn't so Dibble sold some of his 1200 acres for $1.75 per acre and paid Joseph Smith the $400 [per Philo Dibble]. (2)

[Mark Hofmann] Hofmann injured by bomb in his car. Some speculate that the bomb was intended for Brent Ashworth or Christensen's attorney. (3)
