David W. Patten prefers a charge against Lyman Wight in Missouri, accusing him of teaching false doctrine. Wight had said the Church was under a telestial law because the Lord does not use a whip under a celestial law. Wight then took some of the Church members outdoors to whip them "into shape." It is decided that Wight must acknowledge that he had been teaching abominable doctrines before he would be forgiven.
