Bro. Londerberry inquired: if after a woman has been sealed to a man by the Priesthood, can that womans former husband (who was not in the Church) claim her in the resurrection?
Elders John Sutton, Walter Hoge, Solomon Wixom, H. H. Dalrymple, and F. M. Pomeroy expressed their views on the subject; after which Bp. Hunt said that he considered it dangerous, for a woman to get sealed to a man out of the Church; for in case that that man should reject the Gospel, she would be without a husband.
