President [John R.] Winder informed the Council of the conclusion arrived at by himself and President Anthon H. Lund, Brother Rudger Clawson and the Presiding Bishopric in regard to purchasing the temple lot property at Independence.
On motion of Brother George Albert Smith, this action was ratified by the Council.
