The First Presidency organized the Correlation Committee, under the direction of Apostle David O McKay as the chairman of the committee. This was apparently the first use of the term "correlation." Although the committee worked for several years, it failed to accomplish its assignment of correlating the curricula of the various Priesthood quorums and Auxiliaries, but it was more successful in implementing age specific quorums in the wards.
