Dear Sisters:
The auxiliary executives have unanimously recommended that the Mutual Improvement Associations and the Primary Associations be given the duty of conducting or directing the leisure time and recreational activities of the Church, except where recreational and social activities of the quorums and auxiliary associations of the Church are used to foster fellowship within organizations.
We approve the above recommendation that the Primary Associations shall have charge of the conducting or directing of the leisure time and recreational activities of the children of the Church-boys 4 to 12, girls 4 to 14.
Sincerely your brethren, HEBER J. GRANT, ANTHONY W. IVINS, CHARLES W. Nibley, First Presidency. {1928-October 16-Children's Friend 27:425, November, 1928.}
