[Brigham Young Sermon] The President then delineated the nature of what is sometimes denominated the '"one man power,'" showing that it originated in God, and when people obeyed the revelations of God as given through those delegated with authority from the almighty, it was the latter who was obeyed and not those so authorized to act for him. What is called the '"one man power'" was not confined to the Latter-day saints, but people endeavored to carry it out all over the world.
