180 years ago today - Mid-Mar. 1831
The Kirtland Saints inquire of Joseph about where the New York Saints will settle. Joseph receives D&C 48. Parley P. Pratt reaches Kirtland from Missouri to find hundreds of Saints now in the Church. At this time Leman Copley, of the sect called Shaking Quakers (Shakers), has joined the Church and Joseph receives a revelation about Leman's former sect. (See D&C 49.)
