Brother McKay attended a Sunday School conference at Vernal [Utah]. The speaker remarked that Pres[iden]t. Don D. Colton, referring to the great improvement along the line of temperance
which had grown out of the prohibition movement, said that on the Fourth of July was the largest celebration ever held at Vernal, and yet not one arrest was made for drunkenness, a very unusual thing, in fact a thing which had never been known before.
