The leader of the National Reform Association tells the annual meeting of Christian Citizenship Institute that the LDS church president Heber J. Grant is "the most powerful political individual in America today" because "Grant patronizes president, makes bargains with great political parties, dictates the political policies of Utah and at least five surrounding state and wields effective political influence in at least five others."
