[Wilford Woodruff]
The three indians that stole my horses had killed them & threatened of killing both men cattle & Horses so we made arangement to have the Chiefs take those three Indians & we would Confine them in the penetentiary. We appointed a Committee to go & see the Chiefs & attend to the business. I then left some presents for the Indians.
