A Church News full-page repudiation of Annalee Skarin's religious claims, "Self-Styled 'Translated' Person Does Another Disappearing Act." Skarin's book 'Ye Are Gods' is a metaphysical extension of her early Mormon beliefs, yet relatively few followers know about her LDS background. Likewise, Church of Scientology's members (including Hollywood movie stars Tom Cruise and John Travolta) are generally unaware of the Mormon Fundamentalist background of their current leader Heber C. Jentzsch (Scientology convert in 1961 and church president since 1981).
