110 years ago today - Feb 1, 1906

The regular meeting of the First Presidency and Twelve Apostles was held this morning. President [Joseph F.] Smith informed the Council that the Church had advanced the money to print two pamphlets by his son, Joseph F[ielding]. Smith Jr., entitled (1) The Reorganized Church; (2) Blood Atonement and the Origin of Plural Marriage, and inquiry had been made as to whether or not the Church would purchase sufficient to furnish a copy free to each Stake President and counselors, each Bishop and counselors, and to every High Councilor and Alternate.
